Oopz-Oofs

A quirky, playful dog sim where you body-swap with a dog.

“You know you want the player to feel like they are trapped in a Border Collie’s body, so you have to think about how they can accomplish all the stuff they need to do. It could be as simple as how the environment would look from a dog’s perspective, and how the player navigate through the space. It can also be as complex as picturing how to make sure John’s normal human life would still stay on track. For example, if you have a date coming up today but you are a dog now, what would you do to not mess this up? I like the idea of the player can still make it to the date with this new form. Who doesn’t like a cute dog showing up to the date with a surprise :D Keep in mind that one of our design goals for Oopz-Oofs is to focus on the action combinations a dog could do, and that’s why I really enjoyed the idea of spinning the card rack with the paws, praying for the correct card to fall out from the sky.“
