“The core mechanic of this game is rotating the world to navigate, so I want to make sure the player can get the hang of it step-by-step from the tutorial to more complex levels. The player start by just rotating objects in the room to rotating small pieces of land in a town, and then later on to chasing the big boss with the rotations again. I take this mechanic into the heart of the puzzle design for the bridge-crossing level, I want to make sure that the player can see their goal but yet cannot reach it without the rotations.“
